| Zach | 99 | 88 | -6 | 82 | 0.83 | - Sacramen-toeJam / Haven't seen you in a while - There it is! <3 I know it's a classic, but I think this song recently got way more popular on the internet after it was featured in a video game trailer...
- Sacramen-toeJam / Haven't seen you in a while - Like Summer of '69, I feel like this one's more about leaving home than coming home. Though unlike Bryan Adams, Springsteen is currently confronting his hometown baggage rather than just remembering it. So the Boss gets the final point!
- Sacramen-toeJam / Back in time - off topic? I feel like I'm missing something.
- Sacramen-toeJam / Back in time - Not enough points to spread around & not high on my list of Green Day favorites
- Sacramen-toeJam / Horn-y - Didn't make much of an impression on me, which is not something people usually say about Fleetwood Mac songs.
- Sacramen-toeJam / Horn-y - Opinions on whether people have sex to this song?
- Sacramen-toeJam / Next! - Honestly I didn't think this was a song people actually listened to as a song. It doesn't deserve a downvote, but I had to put it somewhere.
- Sacramen-toeJam / Next! - Point for being a creative new pick, and also for understanding that sometimes the true win condition is to create problems for your spouse while showing that you understand them better than they understand themselves.
- Sacramen-toeJam / You're So Vain - I don't think he's being very arrogant, he's just being Kenough. I guess it's about learning not to be arrogant?
Anyway, great movie, good song. I'm glad Gosling has a spotify hit other than that City of Stars song which I can't stand for some reason.
- Sacramen-toeJam / You're So Vain - No points for the song that explicitly inspired the category, but I've never actually listened to it before today so no downvotes either.
Also I'm pretty sure this song was written about me
- Sacramen-toeJam / I Want It All - Gotta give 2 points, you're on my wavelength.
Criticize the people who create jobs? Dolly must be a Marxist who hates freedom!
- Sacramen-toeJam / I Want It All - I don't think this will get many votes, but I'm giving it one because
A) John Williams??!
B) now I understand why I've only heard people sing one line of the song - because the next line is Yubba dibby dibby dibby dibby dibby dibby dum
C) commitment to the farm animal squawking
- Sacramen-toeJam / Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay - (9/10 laziness) Things to do in Lodi:
* Singing and playing while people sat there drunk
* Nothing else
Taught me the original definition of "one night stand" +1
Lodi -1
Complaining about Lodi +1
- Sacramen-toeJam / Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay - (8/10 laziness) Things that DO happen because I got high:
* Being a paraplegic
* Jacking off
* Singing this whole thing wrong
- Sacramen-toeJam / I Want to Love You - He's definitely down to pound in this song, but I don't have enough points to reward this fun but kinda repetitive song
- Sacramen-toeJam / I Want to Love You - I wanted to see this song at some point in Music League. One point for the song, one point for the memories
- "Sacramen-toJam - Disk 2, hidden tracks - Halloween" / Tricks and Treats - "Thrilled" that this one got picked
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / I have a dream! - I didn't see this Huge Jacked Man movie. I'm guessing Ziv Zaifman is him as a little boy? This was my "got better and better each time I heard it" song this round.
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / I have a dream! - I wish I had thought of this "broken dreams" genre, it's a pretty good interpretation of the theme that opens up a lot of songs. Probably about half of The Boss's songs are like this, ha!
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / It takes two - This is the song I genuinely most enjoyed this round. Ok, it's not a serious song, but I thought the movie treated the camp of Eurovision seriously.
Also, the hamster wheel thing is a great match for the Hamster edition of music league.
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / It takes two - I really dislike how Rema feels the need to fill all the beats. I think this would be a MUCH better song with 100% less oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh. It's a shame they cover up an interesting beat with repetitive filler noise. Selena does a good job of delivering each phrase differently and making it interesting though.
A nice change of pace from the rest of the playlist
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / Hungry for more - Never seen the show, but this sounds very much like theme songs from The Sims games...
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / Hungry for more - It's my turn to downvote a country song that I can't stand! Personally, I need to hear her in a very narrow and specific genre of songs, otherwise it's just distracting/annoying how clean her voice is...
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / Happy Birthday! - Pretty good! This has excellent comedic potential if played with inappropriate timing, like somebody's ringtone in a hostage situation
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / Happy Birthday! - If all his songs are like this, we might have to ban Jimmy Buffett from music league as being too good, practically cheating.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / Back to Basics: School of Rock 101 - My favorite of the stones songs so far. Definitely a great rock groove, but it was a strong crop of songs this time.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / Back to Basics: School of Rock 101 - This one kind of hurts to not give points to, considering how many times I've headbanged to this in the past... But I'm also not that kid any more. I think as cool as the riff is, they probably didn't really put that much craft into it, compared to say, Zep's jimmy page did.
Actually the thing that most struck me about listening to this song afresh was how important Dave Grohl on drums is to their sound.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / I Love You, Man? - Not to rubber anyone the wrong way, but this song doesn't fit the bill. I do have fondness for Sesame Street and this song, but I don't think this is the right direction for the league. (not sure why I liked the cookie song, maybe because I like cookies and also submitted a cookie song)
50/50 on whether this is a serious play for points or a commentary that our musical taste isn't all it's quacked up to be.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / I Love You, Man? - Saving my points for the more rare/new songs this round. Similar to Africa, I gotta give points to the creative picks.
Surprisingly political song. Reading about the Neil Young "feud" was interesting. I think the songs interpretation is purposefully ambiguous ("In Birmingham they love the governor, now we all did what we could do.") so both the good ol' boys and the liberals could claim the song. Apparently the Confederate flag they flew at concerts was also the label's business decision.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / But Wait—There’s Myrrh - Gotta vote for this one having just spent a week on Oahu. But also I like Bing's singing better than Dean's and Burl's, and the bendy guitar notes add a lot of Island character to the song.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / But Wait—There’s Myrrh - That lonely old man is really just a creepy old man!
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / Guilty Pleasures - Mike
Guilty: 3/5
Pleasure: 7/10
Extra: +
I feel like the person who chose this song is probably referencing the fact that if you play the Dixie Chicks in public in some places ("try that in a small town"), you might get chased out.
Great tune -amazing to finally hear this song which was part of their fall from the top, and I always thought it a shame they got cancelled for an objectively correct, compassionate, reasonable opinion. But that's people for ya.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / Guilty Pleasures - Mike
Guilty 4/5
Pleasure 6/10
Bonus +
On reflection, I'm giving this one an extra point. The closer you get to pure punk - and this is the closest we've gotten so far - the harder it is to play it publicly (or submit to music league!), due to both musical quality and punk anti establishment sentiment.
The Dropkick Murphys cleverly solved the "punk singers sound awful" problem by secretly having the melody carried by bagpipes.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / We're going HARD! - Another old favorite, but perhaps more 'fast' than 'hard' for me, personally. Otherwise I'd totally give this points.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / We're going HARD! - I like it, just find the other songs more musically interesting. I wonder if Brian Johnson's speaking register is naturally this high, I find it distracting when male vocalists do this.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Say what now? - I kind of agree that Bob Marley's One Love is a pretty ambiguous concept - I'm pretty sure it can refer to familial, social and sexual love at different times. But some of the other songs were new to me, so I voted for those instead.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Say what now? - Literal, but not point-worthy
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Let's go to the movies! - I wanted to dislike this but it's actually pretty good. Drags on a little bit towards the end.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Cover me! - Mike
This *waves hand indicating everything* made more sense in the 90s.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Cover me! - Mike
Great song and cover, but points are limited so I'm giving my points to songs that are more unexpected
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Sacré Bleu! A day in the life of Michel(Gilmore Girls) - Basic but passes the test. Maybe a bit too mainstream for a quirky B&B?
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Sacré Bleu! A day in the life of Michel(Gilmore Girls) - I gave this a point, but honestly this song would drive you insane on repeat in a customer-facing role. It's very repetitive and you'll wish you could escape, but you can't...
But I do like the song in limited doses and found myself singing it a lot when taking the dog for a walk...
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Beach Mismatch. Are your choices Kenenough! (Barbie) - I think in some ways the music and lyrics actually match. They're happy about how everything worked out. The mismatch is that you don't think a murder song should be happy, but I think in this case it is happy?
Still liked it.
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Beach Mismatch. Are your choices Kenenough! (Barbie) - I think this is the one that has the most interesting contrast (between low energy and high energy), as well as being really catchy.
I thought about one song in the opposite direction (sedate lyrics and manic music), Enjoy the Silence by Depeche Mode.
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Country Cover (Beyonce) - I spent a lot of this week thinking that the nitty gritty band must have had a singer who sounded exactly like Cash, and was happy to find out that it's actually him singing as a guest. It was a bit confusing before that.
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Country Cover (Beyonce) - Obligatory upvote, but not among my favorite of his songs (even if it's probably the most iconic)
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Bachelor Nanny TV (Soldier of illusion, Documentary Now) - Mike?
I've actually never seen many episodes of this show... I like TMBG but didn't feel this
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Bachelor Nanny TV (Soldier of illusion, Documentary Now) - Elaine, pandering to Mike. Despite this song being from 2003 it's a very 90s sound. It's a fun song, a deep cut, but I don't think the Entourage show aged well... But I think this track really stands out from the rest in both music and tv show criteria. Also, being from a show about bachelors - someone probably put some thought into this one
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Words don't matter - Everyone's a Captain Kirk. The one exception to my rule this round about songs most of us have heard before...
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Party picks - Love Dua, and this song makes sense for the prompt, but I somehow don't like this as much as her other songs
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Childhood nostalgia - Curse you, Mick! The feud continues until he or I drops dead.
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Childhood nostalgia - Antiestablishmentarianism!
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / No vocals needed - A surprise classic. More unexpected than Debussy.
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / No vocals needed - Great track for inspiration. Ran out of points.
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Play Submission (Setting) - Great setting and blurb! Also used to listen to this song back in the 00s, I don't think there will be a ton of hipsters here upvoting this though. I debated whether to put the second point here or in West End Girls and I thought that probably somebody was specifically targeting me with this song, so I might as well put it here. I do think it's a bit better of a song, too, so..
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Throbbing Attraction (Character) - This is horrible and amazing every time I hear it. We definitely need Jack to side with striking unions vs the Tories.
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Bedroom Experiment (The Scientist's Tale) - This surprisingly holds up well 25 years later. I think it's harder to rap when you're doing a character voice, so I give Mike Meyers a pass on musical talent.
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Bondage and Duty (the Queen's Tale) - I think we've gone into the fantasy genre, Madonna being on time and Margaret Thatcher not sending all those soldiers to Argentina...
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Bad Habit (the Nun's Tale) - Deep cut, eh?
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Drama, Actually... and Tease (Epilogue and Cliffhanger) - Props for sticking with the 80s UK theme...
- 2024, we hardly knew you / Best of 2024 - My favorite on this playlist, maybe because I've heard the others too many times
- Movie Music Magic / Favorite original song from an animated movie - This got my nostalgia vote over Fievel because dinosaurs are sadder than mice. The song is better too IMO
- Movie Music Magic / Favorite song from a non-animated movie musical - You know who I wish would go on strike? The TikTok algorithm that replaced the Newsies
- Movie Music Magic / Favorite song used in a romantic moment in a movie - this would be a Netflix movie if it came out today. Wish I had one more point!
- Movie Music Magic / Favorite background score to a dramatic moment - Beautiful piece and great movie
- Movie Music Magic / Favorite song sung by a character in a non animated movie - Possibly the stupidest movie I've seen in recent years. Solid.
- Change of Pace / Good Riddance but also I Need You Back - wut
- Change of Pace / Not Horny Enough - Canadians don't get horny, it's too cold
- Change of Pace / Better-than-Okay Boomer - Did I miss a reboot of White Chicks with Shaboozey in the Wayans' roles or something?
- Hey DJ! / Guilty Pleasures - "In the justice system, the people are represented by two separate yet equally important groups: the sexy cops, who investigate crime; and bankruptcy attorney perverts, who submit weird songs to music league."
- Hey DJ! / Tongue Twists - I will pray to the hill elves of the countryside for more points to vote with.
- Hey DJ! / $@#?! - mindfuck is a pretty great word
- Hey DJ! / Cover Me Badly - Rupert Everett!
- Beginnings / Debut - Alex Warren is like they took a Hallmark movie and distilled it into a man. I hate it and also kinda love it.
- Beginnings / Beginnings - this was my favorite 'new' song last year
- Beginnings / Summer Starts - excellent
- Beginnings / Original - Ah, the 2000 memories
- Beginnings / If At First You Don't Succeed - maybe, but i played the shit out of 'Dammit'
- Into the Void / Fairies Wear Boots - I listened to the Elton John version so maybe I'm biased in favor of this
- Into the Void / Spiral Architect - An old favorite. The thing I appreciated about this and Prince on this playlist was that they build up to catharsis. After piling up the negative emotions, it's nice to have a Nickelback moment
- Into the Void / Wishing Well - Never saw the movie
- Into the Void / Sweet Leaf - Me too except I'm still indulging myself
- The Singularity / Embiggened Language Model - A long long time ago I had to sit through drunk businessmen singing this whole long ass song at a karaoke bar. Not a great time.
- The Singularity / Embiggened Language Model - Indeed this is a difficult concept to parse. Also, are we human or are we dancers?
- The Singularity / John Henry - Lol. But it does fit the theme of breaking your own limits...
- The Singularity / John Henry - As a beginner distance runner, I feel this...
- The Singularity / Irreplaceable - I see your pandering and go along with it anyway
- Music Through the Decades / The 2000s: Guilty Pleasure or Secret Genius? - Mike will be singing this song on his deathbed
- Music Through the Decades / The Lost Decade - my inner basic bitch loves bon jovi karaoke

| lainey3eb | 83 | 70 | -3 | 67 | 0.81 | - Sacramen-toeJam / Back in time - I like this version more than the original. Saw them on tour in 2019 for this album and this song was definitely a crowd favorite.
- Sacramen-toeJam / Back in time - Almost picked this song myself. You know how a certain smell or perfume can immediately evoke a very specific memory or emotion? I have the same reaction anytime I hear this song’s intro.
- Sacramen-toeJam / Horn-y - I feel like it’s not really a Fleetwood Mac song without Stevie singing 😅
- Sacramen-toeJam / Horn-y - I wouldn’t mind this song beating out my song choices because this was a brilliant selection.
- Sacramen-toeJam / Next! - Another inspired choice and I can also see this getting major points
- Sacramen-toeJam / Next! - I might have to add Dogstar back to my regular playlist. I liked their song “Cornerstone” a lot in college. This appears to be a new song from their upcoming album, so thanks for alerting me!
- Sacramen-toeJam / You're So Vain - Still need to see this movie! Ken is still a ten in my book even tho he should quit singing and stick to tanning.
- Sacramen-toeJam / You're So Vain - Didn’t think anyone would choose this song since I made it the title of this round, but this was the first song that came to my mind. 🤷🏻♀️
- Sacramen-toeJam / I Want It All - Interesting choice that was on theme, but I probably would have enjoyed this more if I had seen the musical.
- Sacramen-toeJam / Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay - Point for the local reference! Lots of wineries there now so being stuck there isn’t so bad.
- Sacramen-toeJam / Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay - This is one of the top results that come up when you Google “songs about being lazy” but I just liked other songs fitting the theme better.
- "Sacramen-toJam - Disk 2, hidden tracks - Halloween" / Tricks and Treats - I probably would have given this a point if I had watched 30 Rock
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / I have a dream! - The word dream only appears once in this song, but used in such a powerful lyric. Well played.
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / It takes two - I prejudged this song seeing it was from a Will Ferrell movie, but I was pleasantly surprised.
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / Hungry for more - I would have given a point but this seems more like a snippet than a song
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / Hungry for more - I like this version of the song
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / Back to Basics: School of Rock 101 - The intro riff always give me a jolt of adrenaline. Classic for a reason!
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / Back to Basics: School of Rock 101 - David Bowie stole the points from this song. I cannot deny that the riff in this song is iconic, but I prefer Come As You Are.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / I Love You, Man? - I sometimes wonder if non-Californians like songs about California. But I know I like at least one song about Alabama!
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / But Wait—There’s Myrrh - Nice out of the box pick!
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / Guilty Pleasures - Emma? I get it; I don’t like crying in public either.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / Guilty Pleasures - Mike? I can’t believe anyone would willingly listen to this song.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Say what now? - About how money shouldn’t be the most important thing in life.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Say what now? - He’s exhilarated by his successful cocaine business, but he has a lot of haters coming after him although he isn’t afraid. He’s still living in his old neighborhood and no one understands why because he could live somewhere much nicer.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Cover me! - Yorick? I was excited to see a Tori Amos song, but I think her style doesn’t quite match the intensity required to do this song justice.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Cover me! - Mike? 100% agree this song is an incredible cover but I decided to give two points to Sinead, the other “obvious pick” song.
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Sacré Bleu! A day in the life of Michel(Gilmore Girls) - I have to admit this is a damn good pop song
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Sacré Bleu! A day in the life of Michel(Gilmore Girls) - Well-played, Mike! I would have picked this song too for the challenge.
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Beach Mismatch. Are your choices Kenenough! (Barbie) - I liked the other murder-themed song better.
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Country Cover (Beyonce) - Great song from the genre.
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Bachelor Nanny TV (Soldier of illusion, Documentary Now) - Zach? Gave the point to Superhero
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Bachelor Nanny TV (Soldier of illusion, Documentary Now) - Mike? The only Entourage episodes I’ve ever seen were when we visited you in Boston. And we met Emily for the first time on that trip :)
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Party picks - This was the first song played at a wedding I attended last month and nearly everyone stampeded to the dance floor. The DJ said she’s never seen that happen.
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Childhood nostalgia - Classic. Guessing Jason picked this for Rick.
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / No vocals needed - Recognized the tune, but did not know the song! Liked this too, but ran out of points.
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / No vocals needed - I’m a sucker for a good main theme for a movie.
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Throbbing Attraction (Character) - Ugh for making me vote for this song, but did not see this character coming and now I want to see more…
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Bedroom Experiment (The Scientist's Tale) - Appreciate the brevity and humor. I think it would have been fun to pick songs for a comedy.
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Drama, Actually... and Tease (Epilogue and Cliffhanger) - Brilliant choice
- Movie Music Magic / Favorite song from a non-animated movie musical - Christian Bale movies are showing up a surprising amount of times in this league.
- Movie Music Magic / Favorite song used in a romantic moment in a movie - Love this scene! Would have picked this song too if I hadn’t used it already in a prior game of Music League.
- Movie Music Magic / Favorite background score to a dramatic moment - RIP Gene Hackman
- Change of Pace / Good Riddance but also I Need You Back - Quirky pick, but I like it. I want to know how you discovered this song!
- Change of Pace / Not Horny Enough - Was this used in cue cards scene in Love Actually?
- Change of Pace / Better-than-Okay Boomer - I feel my (old) age when I listen to this song, but I appreciate the pick of a new song
- Hey DJ! / Guilty Pleasures - I recently watched a couple episodes of this show and now I’m curious of how this song shows up. Guess I’ll have to keep watching.
- Hey DJ! / The Big Ask - Sparkly jumpsuit is a must
- Into the Void / Fairies Wear Boots - I heard this for the first time while on the way to Stonehenge. My friend was horrified that several of us did not know the movie and showed us the YouTube clip to release us from our chains of ignorance. But I agree tis’ a magical place (put there by aliens)!
- Into the Void / Wishing Well - I thought this was a great pick. The pure vocals really gave the effect of throwing a coin into the dark.
- Into the Void / Sweet Leaf - Seems like another cautionary tale
- The Singularity / Man vs Machine - I don’t think I’ve ever listened to this song or maybe I didn’t realize it was this song when I did. I enjoyed it, but I think I would have liked it more if he didn’t have the vocal effect because he has a beautiful voice.
- The Singularity / Embiggened Language Model - My dad listened to this song a lot when I was a kid. Not sure why, but I never questioned the meaning of the phrase American pie.
- The Singularity / John Henry - This was the first song that I rushed to submit because I thought it was a sure winner, but changed it for my two “themed” picks. No regrets tho!
- The Singularity / This is Fine - I’mma let you finish but actually I think this move by Kanye (or Ye Ye his current name?) is the peak of modern civilization https://blogs.mtdv.me/watch?v=KanyeWeststealsavril14th
- The Singularity / Irreplaceable - Ahh, someone else knows about Gosling’s secret band! The choir part and clapping would be hard to replicate.
- Music Through the Decades / The 2000s: Guilty Pleasure or Secret Genius? - Damn, take my two points
- New beginnings / This isn't me - Thanks for reminding me of this gem. So many good R&B songs, give them a listen!
- New beginnings / Instrumental - Love surf rock! Definitely would be on my road trip playlists as well!

| Happy Lucky | 60 | 55 | -5 | 50 | 0.83 | - Sacramen-toeJam / Back in time - I would've preferred the original by Toto
- Sacramen-toeJam / Back in time - Perfect! Good job whoever chose this! :)
- Sacramen-toeJam / Horn-y - It's too slow of a build-up for me.
- Sacramen-toeJam / Horn-y - Haha, whoever chose this, you're so funny, you get a point!
- Sacramen-toeJam / Next! - Sounds nice, I like it.
- Sacramen-toeJam / Next! - Alright, not bad.
- Sacramen-toeJam / You're So Vain - Bwahaha, whoever posted Ryan Gosling, I hope you gave my Dwayne Johnson a point back!
- Sacramen-toeJam / You're So Vain - Just gonna say it now: I'm not giving points for any song that matches the round title... Because that's too easy! But you're lucky you won't get my down vote since Kanye deserves it more. Thank Kanye, Carly.
- Sacramen-toeJam / I Want It All - Dolly is actually really smart. I love the line, "they use your mind / and you never give you credit" and "youre just another step on the boss-man's ladder". And I see a glimmer of how it fits the theme.
- Sacramen-toeJam / I Want It All - OK, this guy's desires to be rich and what he'd do if he was, gotcha. I would have chosen Billionaire instead, but maybe I had blocked you from choosing it? I'm sorry if I did! But I cannot sit and listen to this "song", but why does the bum didi sound familiar?
- Sacramen-toeJam / Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay - Meh. More like... Boring.... Sorry, don't know why but I have no patience for this song, tho I do like some of CCR's music.
- Sacramen-toeJam / Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay - Lol.......its not a great song but I love how it fits the theme. But I think he's more high than lazy. But I guess he's also relaxed and chill, so extra point for ya, heehee.
- Sacramen-toeJam / I Want to Love You - Really weird song. But I get the feeling you wanted a - 1. If not, Chu inception'd me to do it.
- Sacramen-toeJam / I Want to Love You - No.
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / I have a dream! - Not sure why I didn't pick this one myself, but yes, I love this song!
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / I have a dream! - I really like this song.... It reminds me of the song I submitted a while ago, Society by Eddie Vedder. :) for the songs with 0 points (other than Ella), can blame this song for stealing the point from underneath them!
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / It takes two - I quite liked the movie! Good song, even tho will ferrell's voice does ruin it a little for me, lol. He is definitely not on the buzz feed list of "actors that can actually sing".
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / It takes two - I've heard it before a few times so I've gotten accustomed to it.
But it's not a song that immediately pushes the like button for me.
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / Hungry for more - *eye roll* no. For once, lyric less songs doesn't work for this theme, I think.
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / Hungry for more - Not my fave carpenters song.
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / Happy Birthday! - Naw, it's not like my birthday it *is* my bday :) I like pop/dancy/catchy song....
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / Happy Birthday! - From margaritas to birthday cake. He has other food related songs too. Buffet(t) dinner, lol.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / Back to Basics: School of Rock 101 - I can't get... this riff outta my head. Earworm extravaganza.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / Back to Basics: School of Rock 101 - It was down to this or the Beatles... So I gave it to The Beatles, have a little more love for them.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / I Love You, Man? - I considered submitting this.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / I Love You, Man? - Unlike summer of 69 and our house, I do feel the love in this song. This song would fall in the mixed nostalgia + love part of the venn diagram I mentioned. I think it has a lot to do with him simply saying "sweet".
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / But Wait—There’s Myrrh - Bah.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / Guilty Pleasures - Jason. Because you secretly like country women music? *shrug*
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / Guilty Pleasures - Yorick - guessing you because I know you know this band.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / We're going HARD! - Another easy points song.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Say what now? - ... because it's red hot chili peppers.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Say what now? - Lol... I see what you did there. Point for your humor.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Let's go to the movies! - Never watched the movie, but I know the song, so it deserves a point for that!
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Let's go to the movies! - It would be wrong of me to not give this a point considering I submitted Celine Dion. :)
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Cover me! - Not into singing where you hear the singer breath so strongly into the mic, and we've already established how ridiculous the lyrics are, so to hear the lyrics clearly sung makes it even more silly.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Cover me! - I think the cover is def better than the original.
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Sacré Bleu! A day in the life of Michel(Gilmore Girls) - Same-wish comment to Since I Been Gone.
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Beach Mismatch. Are your choices Kenenough! (Barbie) - I think the song matches the lyrics, lol....
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Beach Mismatch. Are your choices Kenenough! (Barbie) - Good song, but somehow annoying.
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Country Cover (Beyonce) - Zzzzz
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Country Cover (Beyonce) - Yorick and I looked for covers of this song. There were so many, but most sounded pretty bad.... So I'd like to see beyonce cover this, lol.
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Bachelor Nanny TV (Soldier of illusion, Documentary Now) - Yep, Malcom!
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Bachelor Nanny TV (Soldier of illusion, Documentary Now) - I hear this and know it's for that show I've never watched, lol.
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Words don't matter - Classic
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Words don't matter - Not as overplayed as Gangnam, so I enjoy it.
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Party picks - Useless comment: I liked it before I knew it was in Barbie.
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Party picks - Yea... I have a soft spot for shakira
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Childhood nostalgia - It's an OK song. Might have given it a minus 1, but wild things more disliked for me.
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Childhood nostalgia - Good song. Not very karaokeable for me tho, lol. So no points since I don't have enough to spread....
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / No vocals needed - I enjoy this, tho just constantly making me think of food, lol. Beef, it's what's for dinner!
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / No vocals needed - It's OK, not really point worthy to me.
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Play Submission (Setting) - Ugh, just ugh. *Evil grin*
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Throbbing Attraction (Character) - I think if you were gonna choose a lonely island song, Shy Ronnie might be a better choice. Because even though this song is called Jack Sparrow, it's not really about him....
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Grasping and Heaving (Story Goals) - *giggle* I love your comment.
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Bedroom Experiment (The Scientist's Tale) - Quirky.
- New beginnings / Rediscovered - Ooookay, I'm giving this terrible song 1 point only because it makes me bop along despite it's terribleness.

| Yorick | 77 | 57 | -8 | 49 | 0.64 | - Sacramen-toeJam / Back in time - Good cover, but it doesn't quite capture the original for me. Speaking of Africa covers... this one is hilarious AND good listening if you're into the genre: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MH9FyLsfDzw
- Sacramen-toeJam / Next! - 3 Points because Keanu is breathtaking.
- Sacramen-toeJam / Next! - Not quite my style.
- Sacramen-toeJam / You're So Vain - A song of insecurity and self acceptance. I can't reconcile it with the theme very much.
- Sacramen-toeJam / You're So Vain - Too obvious. No points!
- Sacramen-toeJam / Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay - Excellent choice
- Sacramen-toeJam / I Want to Love You - Way to go you! No need for taste in this one... Classic nostalgia.
- Sacramen-toeJam / I Want to Love You - Easy minus. What a load of...
- "Sacramen-toJam - Disk 2, hidden tracks - Halloween" / Tricks and Treats - Never watched the show. Maybe if I had this song would be more impactful. Now it was not. On theme tho
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / I have a dream! - I liked the movie and it's soundtrack. Good pick!
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / I have a dream! - Great storyteller.
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / It takes two - o-o-o-o-o-no-no-no-no-o-o-o-o- somewhat annoying to listed to
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / It takes two - Risky pick right here
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / Hungry for more - Eh... No?
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / Hungry for more - Not quite my style (today?). But worth a point.
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / Happy Birthday! - So country!
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / Back to Basics: School of Rock 101 - Classic. One point!
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / I Love You, Man? - This would've gotten my minus point, but because it fits so well it brought it back up to 0.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / Guilty Pleasures - Emily
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / Guilty Pleasures - Mike
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / We're going HARD! - Just that drum roll in the beginning went pretty hard, the rest was a bit tame compared to all the other stuff here. Still good song though!
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / We're going HARD! - AC/DC was to be expected in this group. But yes, they go hard! And this song just a bit more than Highway to Hell. But the points are gone...
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Say what now? - None of these rappers make sense to me. I guess I'm not "street" enough.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Say what now? - They must've been high writing this.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Let's go to the movies! - I never watched the movie, and with the new one coming out I have not had the urge either. But still, I know the soundtrack.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Let's go to the movies! - This track is so full of wonder and really sets the hopeful tone of the movie. Definitely gets my point for personal preference over Celine.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Cover me! - Bold move to cover this song and trying to sing the lyrics in a way people can understand. Interesting!
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Cover me! - Not too familiar with this or the original... but a good song nonetheless.
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Beach Mismatch. Are your choices Kenenough! (Barbie) - Not my kinda party. And also, who likes the modulated repetetive voice I hear in this and other songs nowadays? Bleh.
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Beach Mismatch. Are your choices Kenenough! (Barbie) - Nice to hear some clear lyrics finally. Story lyrics like this are good. Earl had it coming.
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Country Cover (Beyonce) - 30 seconds before I heard anything. 50 seconds before the first instrument started playing. That's an audio sin punishable by one minus point!
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Country Cover (Beyonce) - Beyoncé would cover this wouldn't she? It's just a very coverable song.
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Words don't matter - This was overplayed in NL.
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Words don't matter - Eh... Not my thing.
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Party picks - Dua Lipa is fine, but I don't really get the massive popularity... This song got good hype going out the Barbie movie tho. Good pick for a party!
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Party picks - Such a great collaboration!
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Childhood nostalgia - I like some of their other songs more. It feels like this song never really gets started... I guess it's the choice of percussion instruments.
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Childhood nostalgia - Such a good track. But I didn't hear it until later in life.
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / No vocals needed - Eh... What a weird track. I love me some violin/fiddle work, but those high notes were an assault!
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / No vocals needed - So patriotic...
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Play Submission (Setting) - For the description :)
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Throbbing Attraction (Character) - OK, one point because I appreciate the Lonely Island is this track was awesome!
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Bedroom Experiment (The Scientist's Tale) - Nah...
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Bondage and Duty (the Queen's Tale) - Nice touch. But I didn't think we were talking about that kind of queen haha
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Bad Habit (the Nun's Tale) - So country and Christian! I... Don't know what to do with this.
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Drama, Actually... and Tease (Epilogue and Cliffhanger) - Not my type of music.
- Movie Music Magic / Favorite movie title song/theme song - To be honest, not the best rendition of this track. But I do love it.
- Movie Music Magic / Thriller - a song from a movie that gives you the chills - I guess they technically had some long episodes they called movies haha
- Movie Music Magic / Favorite song used in a romantic moment in a movie - Such a fun song to listen to. Nice one!
- Change of Pace / Good Riddance but also I Need You Back - Well... that sure was something. I hope David and her met up after this song for an drink or something haha
- Change of Pace / Stop, Wait a Minute - I guess you focused on the slow down part of the prompt.
- Hey DJ! / Tongue Twists - Hot damn, I'm just watching Eurovision 2025 RIGHT NOW. Spot on. 1 point!
- Hey DJ! / The Big Ask - That would work!
- Into the Void / Neon Knights - Man, what a banger! That lazy slow fade out tho... Points were more deserved elsewhere.
- Into the Void / Wishing Well - This song just didn't work for me. Sung very nicely... but it all blended together in a way where I thought it was on repeat forever in a bad way.
- Into the Void / Sweet Leaf - The line about Avicii is still painful in hindsight. Glad this guy is doing better!
- The Singularity / John Henry - The ultimate travel song.
- The Singularity / This is Fine - Wonderful track.
- The Singularity / This is Fine - No.
- The Singularity / Irreplaceable - What an odd song... I should look into he story behind this.
- The Singularity / Irreplaceable - This is a great pick for this round! The dichotomy of mixing gangsters with Amish folk and the pointed comedic lyrics would be insaley difficult for AI. Humor is a truly human experience.
- New beginnings / Rediscovered - Never was much of a Kesha fan. But somehow I once watched a whole documentary of her hustling throughout her tour and found respect for the work she put in. Despite the music and lyrics not being my thing, she seems like a down to earth hard working person.
- New beginnings / This isn't me - Didn't resonate with me much.
- New beginnings / Instrumental - I'll forgive the crazy laugh, but the one point had to go elsewhere. Cool surfer vibe tho!

| Taylor Kayatta | 32 | 37 | -4 | 33 | 1.03 | - SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Childhood nostalgia - Classic!
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Play Submission (Setting) - I just can’t get past Veronica Mars with this song, and that will be all I think about in the next rounds.
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Bedroom Experiment (The Scientist's Tale) - Love it. Changes the plot, but not in a bad way.
- Hey DJ! / The Big Ask - Needs the back flip
- Hey DJ! / Cover Me Badly - Yeah, this was terrible. Although the Austin Powers song (Beautiful Stranger) was good, the Music album was a bad era for Madonna.
- Beginnings / If At First You Don't Succeed - I don't know about y'all, but I certainly heard M+Ms from their debut at least a few times, and Dude Ranch was HUGE at my Southern California junior high.
- Into the Void / N.I.B. - I love this song, but I don't see Noah as the victim. If anything, it seems like he was wronged.
- Into the Void / Sweet Leaf - I love the song, but this song is more of a buzz kill than self-indulgence. I don't want to know the emo reasons why you're getting high, I want to live out a fun evening with you.
- The Singularity / This is Fine - The lyrics work well here.
- Music Through the Decades / The Lost Decade - I listen to this all the time. Would get my vote, but doesn't fit the category.
- New beginnings / Rediscovered - I love this song, but would have preferred to vote for one of her recent songs.

- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / It takes two - Generally a nice song, but can't really picture Ferrell singing a love song 😅
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / It takes two - A nice beat to dance to, but I won't call it a love song.
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / Hungry for more - A nice short score, but can't say much about it.
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / Hungry for more - A song from my parents' time. Oldie but goldie.
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / Happy Birthday! - Nice beat
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / Happy Birthday! - It's okay.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / Back to Basics: School of Rock 101 - A must vote.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / I Love You, Man? - A point for the cuteness
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / I Love You, Man? - Classic, but again no more points.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / But Wait—There’s Myrrh - I love this!
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / But Wait—There’s Myrrh - I like the other Muppet song better.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / Guilty Pleasures - Beautiful tune! I enjoy listening to this song.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / Guilty Pleasures - It's a nice song, but I prefer listening to it without the vocal.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Let's go to the movies! - I'm not a fan of the film, nor the soundtrack.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Cover me! - Love it! She twists the song completely into her style. I enjoy listening to this more peaceful version.
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Beach Mismatch. Are your choices Kenenough! (Barbie) - Omigosh! What a weird song!
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Country Cover (Beyonce) - Nice country tune with sad lyrics.
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Bachelor Nanny TV (Soldier of illusion, Documentary Now) - I enjoy this song the least. Minus point thus.
Is this maybe Yorick's choice?
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Words don't matter - It's a nice song, but I ran out of points, sorry.
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Words don't matter - This song is also quite overplayed, but I somehow still enjoy listening to it.
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / No vocals needed - A part of this song doesn't sound really nice and makes it less enjoyable. Too bad...
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / No vocals needed - It is not bad, but also not as special as the others.
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Grasping and Heaving (Story Goals) - I love ABBA - and the description 😁

| Brandon Nohara | 27 | 25 | -1 | 24 | 0.89 | - Change of Pace / Good Riddance but also I Need You Back - +2 for the song, +1 for the comment
- Change of Pace / Old Enough! はじめてのおつかい - Miley became a mature musician a few years after this (and maybe even a few years after Wrecking Ball)
- Change of Pace / Horn-y - Great song, I just ran out of upvotes
- Change of Pace / Better-than-Okay Boomer - Yup. Her songs are still catchy
- Change of Pace / Stop, Wait a Minute - This one gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling
- Hey DJ! / Guilty Pleasures - Won me over on the second listen
- Hey DJ! / The Big Ask - I like the backflip idea, but I found his voice grating during the chorus
- Beginnings / Beginnings - Over a few listens, this song went from doubtful to my favorite on the playlist
- Beginnings / Original - I thought about playing this too
- Into the Void / Spiral Architect - Somehow I never knew the name of this song
- Into the Void / Neon Knights - Illusions! This made me think of Arrested Development, and also the inspired choreography for this track on the Just Dance game
- The Singularity / Man vs Machine - Classic
- The Singularity / John Henry - I prefer grown-up Miley, but man this is catchy
- Music Through the Decades / The 2020s: Soundtrack to the End (or Beginning) - Would have given an upvote if we had a few more points
- Music Through the Decades / The Lost Decade - I would have voted for most of their other hits, or anything from the Young Guns II sountrack
- New beginnings / Rediscovered - Great song from her debut album. How about a newer track?
- New beginnings / This isn't me - Interesting, I didn't know the Robin Schulz "Sugar" song was based on this
- New beginnings / Instrumental - Classic, but the song opens with someone saying "hahahaha wipe out"

I feel zero connection to the content of this song.
- New beginnings / This isn't me - I remember this one. It's somewhere in my Spotify favorites, but it's been a while.
- New beginnings / Instrumental - Quentin Tarantino vibes... and a cheesy fade-out. Yeah. Fun! No points from me, but I like it.
