Childhood nostalgia
You remember listening to these songs many times as a kid. They're your parents' favourite. I'm curious to know which songs you grew up listening to and they then became your songs.

So many songs to choose from, but I'm going with one of the most obvious Si-funk-on songs. All the signature Gar-mon-kel elements are there: poetic, somewhat cerebral lyrics, playful acoustic guitar, close harmonies. Random fact: This version doesn't actually appear on The Graduate soundtrack - recording was finished after the movie was released.

I didn't know until this week that this was released posthumously in the late 80s! I just always assumed my dad was listening to an old classic.

My parents listened a lot to Teresa Teng, Paula Tsui, and Anita Mui. But since the criteria included "and they became your songs", Teresa Teng's songs be something I liked as well.

From my mum. I feel like this was on repeat every weekend at the house

One from my dad. I remember listening to this and various other TfF tracks in the car. Never understood the lyrics because I didn't understand English yet. Interesting listening to them now.

Wong Fei Hong theme... I didn't want to post another song similar to Teresa Teng, so I chose this. I don't know if my parents listened to this a lot, but my dad loves watching movies and this was of course from Once Upon a time in China movie and I really enjoy this song so much when we watched it. :)

My dad played this album on repeat as we drove across the country when moving from Maine to California.

I always think of my dad whenever I listen to Bee Gees.

One from my mom. One of those cd's on repeat on long trips to France. It was either this or Ace of Base. All fond memories.
