| Yorick | 41 | 36 | -3 | 33 | 0.80 | - SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / I have a dream! - Good memories from the 90s
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / I have a dream! - Dry thunder is a thing! Always bugs me when I hear those lyrics. Otherwise an OK song.
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / It takes two - I've heard Grease music waaaay to much so it doesn't hype me that much anymore. It's a good pick for this category though.
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / It takes two - I actually considered this one but I'm too shallow to see it as a love song. I can see how that could work though.
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / Hungry for more - Nice and chill.
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / Hungry for more - Not quite my style (today?) but worth a point.
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / Happy Birthday! - Was thinking of submitting this one but someone beat me to it.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / Back to Basics: School of Rock 101 - Oh you Californians... Sure!
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / Back to Basics: School of Rock 101 - Didn't I submit this song in the first league? Great track.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / Guilty Pleasures - Jason
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / Guilty Pleasures - Zach
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / We're going HARD! - The Rage always goes hard! Have you all seen that time when the BBC invited RATM on for a live performance but asked them to not use foul language? This very song... yeah, that was smart.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / We're going HARD! - While I love the metal, grunting and screaming is not generally my thing. Some exceptions of course, but this did not win me over.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Say what now? - Seems perfectly understandable to me. He even explains it in the song.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Let's go to the movies! - I like the song well enough... But no specific movie sprang to mind? I'll probably smack myself later, but out of all the songs in the list this one stood out to me as not directly movie related...
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Let's go to the movies! - Never seen it and not the biggest Whitney fan. Great voice tho and very recognizable!
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Cover me! - So... I didn't even know this was a cover. To me this is the original version. So I guess I learned something new today.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Cover me! - Another song where I feel like this version is more popular than the original. I had to look up the original artist. Quite surprising it was Prince, but this remains the version I've always known.
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Sacré Bleu! A day in the life of Michel(Gilmore Girls) - Overused so much. Poor Pharrell made such a banger it got killed by its own popularity ;(
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Sacré Bleu! A day in the life of Michel(Gilmore Girls) - Huh... I never knew this was Timberlake. In hindsight it is so obvious but there it is.
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Beach Mismatch. Are your choices Kenenough! (Barbie) - "a droll portrait of adolescent self-pity". Fits the theme well enough!
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Beach Mismatch. Are your choices Kenenough! (Barbie) - Makes me wonder if this song was written as a love song, but then rewritten when the relationship ended?
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Country Cover (Beyonce) - Classic.
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Country Cover (Beyonce) - Hot damn! That's so country!
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Words don't matter - Used in so many different movies. Though I have no idea why haha
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Words don't matter - It felt like this song never really took off... Quite boring in a way, I kept hoping for something to happen.
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Party picks - I don't know if I'd catch this on any party I'd go to. Perhaps a modernized cover? Still good stuff tho.
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Childhood nostalgia - Is this the no. 1 high school dance track?
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Childhood nostalgia - A song for a slower time. And perhaps a bit too slow for me XD
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / No vocals needed - I was thinking of Lindsey Sterling, so this was a welcome surprise!
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / No vocals needed - Nostalgic.
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Play Submission (Setting) - Wonderful choice.
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Bondage and Duty (the Queen's Tale) - Nice song, hadn't heard it before! Who did she kill?
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Bad Habit (the Nun's Tale) - I like Pentatonix well enough, but I was not ready for Christmas songs just yet. Ti's NOT the season!
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Drama, Actually... and Tease (Epilogue and Cliffhanger) - I could imagine this while the credits roll.

| Happy Lucky | 43 | 32 | -2 | 30 | 0.70 | - SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / I have a dream! - I found it catchy, but I don't like her voice/way of singing. :(
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / I have a dream! - It's kind of a weird cover... irish dance (but not river dance)? I can't dislike it because I like the Fleetwood song, but I generally prefer the original.
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / It takes two - Is this really a love song? I guess.....?
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / It takes two - Ahh, of course, I expected this song. You didn't disappoint.
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / Hungry for more - It's an OK song.
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / Hungry for more - Love this classic.
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / Happy Birthday! - I always saw this more like a new years eve song and not birthday at all.
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / Happy Birthday! - Lol, it must be every teen girl's dream in the 90s to be sung happy birthday by nkotb. Wasn't my dream, but it's not a bad song!
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / Back to Basics: School of Rock 101 - I wanted to submit this. I have memories of driving home at night and the radio dj always knew to play this song around that time. So iit gets double points for playing on my nostalgia
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / Back to Basics: School of Rock 101 - My husband submitted this in our first league. I think this is the first song that has made a reprise in our league. But aha, Slash makes 2 appearances this round!
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / I Love You, Man? - Yes, a song that fits the theme! But I don't like this queen song, so I don't want to spend a point on it. It also bugs me that it sounds unfinished.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / I Love You, Man? - Oh the irony of the song. But I don't like this song very much and I don't have many points to spare.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / But Wait—There’s Myrrh - One of the most overplayed Christmas songs. Borderlining hating it...but it's better than "Last Christmas", so it doesn't deserve my minus vote.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / But Wait—There’s Myrrh - I actually never liked the grinch....
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / Guilty Pleasures - Jason. I bet due to influence from your mother?
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / Guilty Pleasures - Elaine. I vaguely remember you once saying foreign music isn't your thing, but perhaps it secretly is....?
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / We're going HARD! - Yep.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / We're going HARD! - I just don't like this song. The "music" makes me angry and stressed.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Say what now? - I think this song makes sense in it's own messed up way.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Say what now? - Yea, this song never made sense, but I figured he's scatting, and scatting generally doesn't make sense. So I can't give it points.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Let's go to the movies! - This one one of those songs that got used in a lot of different movies and TV shows, that it wasn't made for a movie. So minus point.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Cover me! - Lovely song, but I prefer the Roberta flack version.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Cover me! - I thought this was the original, heh.
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Sacré Bleu! A day in the life of Michel(Gilmore Girls) - I feel like Michel would roll his eyes so much at this song......
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Sacré Bleu! A day in the life of Michel(Gilmore Girls) - Despite him eye-rolling Happy, I think he would enjoy this in it's stead.
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Beach Mismatch. Are your choices Kenenough! (Barbie) - It feels like songs back in the 70s-ish really enjoyed sound happy but the lyrics are not, lol
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Country Cover (Beyonce) - I was thinking "your cheating heart" might have been a better choice than this but not a bad choice nonetheless.
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Bachelor Nanny TV (Soldier of illusion, Documentary Now) - Of course this song!
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Bachelor Nanny TV (Soldier of illusion, Documentary Now) - This was written for the show actually.....
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Words don't matter - See, compared to the other French song, this really sounds French.
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Words don't matter - It's not a bad song, but kinda boring and other songs deserve points more.
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Childhood nostalgia - Another great Elvis song. A bit slow though.... So no points!
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Childhood nostalgia - Yes, this is a lovely song :)
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / No vocals needed - Nice song! Good violining!
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / No vocals needed - I quite like it, yes!
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Play Submission (Setting) - Mo money!
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Throbbing Attraction (Character) - I really love this song, and I wish you didn't forget or lose the comment....but with limited points, I'll give the points to the other songs
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Grasping and Heaving (Story Goals) - What about Evangeline? Anyway, sorry, not such a fan of the song.
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Bedroom Experiment (The Scientist's Tale) - Hmmm, I like the vibe.

| Zach | 44 | 29 | -5 | 24 | 0.55 | - SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / I have a dream! - New song to me, and it's in a genre that this league generally doesn't submit often. Nice.
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / I have a dream! - Sorry, but out of all the classic slow songs to put over a double-time Eurobeat drum track, this has got to be one of the most puzzling I've ever heard. I mean, the actual musicians are good and the violins are really nice. It's just - I never understood under what context you're supposed to listen to this kind of thing. Is it a dance song? A chill ballad? I suspect the producer doesn't know either!
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / It takes two - I haven't seen this movie, but I'm familiar with the plot of the old movies. The simple yet meaningful lyrics are among this round's best (tho I'm still biased in favor of Duet's theme of patience and forgiveness)
Maybe bc I don't know the characters, and because this is a bit of a too-easy pick, it's hard to give this a full score. Also, the (sha-sha-shallow) part is really lazy and it bothers me that they're in the shallows and far from the shallows.
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / It takes two - Never saw Grease, but I guess it's like Happy Days? I decided to give one point to Grease, and I like this one slightly better than Summer Nights.
I just watched the YouTube clip and that was a lot of fun.
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / Hungry for more - I like this song, but it's less on-topic/deep lyrics compared to the other songs here and there's just too many other good, unique songs this round.
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / Hungry for more - Favorite to least favorite:
1. Matt Nathanson
2. Jason Mraz
3. John Mayer
4. ?
...
...
9. ?
10. Jack Johnson
I don't know why, it just is.
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / Happy Birthday! - Somehow sounds better in full compared to the clips that normally get played...
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / Happy Birthday! - This song must have come out around the same time as the Back to the Future trilogy, so this "Earth Angel" remix feels like it should be followed up with a "Johnny B. Goode" cover.
I'd say this kind of remix could only have happened in the 90s, but we are getting a lot of similar pop remixes in the 2020s....
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / Back to Basics: School of Rock 101 - We all know this song and maybe groaned a little at its selection, but listening to it fresh made me realize that this song is really tightly crafted. Like how every writer needs an editor, it helps when musicians get told 'no' every once in a while.
There's not a moment without purpose or direction (looking at you, November Rain).
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / Back to Basics: School of Rock 101 - If November rain wasn't here I would give this a point, but this was kind of a too-safe pick.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / I Love You, Man? - It feels like if I gave this song less than 2 points, it would only be because I'm mad it's not mine.
Did Jason choose this category just so he could use this song? Did someone else have a stroke of genius? Either way I'm glad I didn't choose The Distance as I was originally planning, that wouldnt have held a candle to this.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / I Love You, Man? - Did someone select this knowing that I have an unhealthy attachment to my dog? You, my friend, have an unhealthy attachment to my two points!
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / But Wait—There’s Myrrh - The less I say about this song, the better.
On a positive note, I watched Love Actually recently and had an improved impression of it. Some interesting moments:
Thanks to music league, realizing that Billy Mack is basically Ozzy Osbourne
The writer falls in love with Portuguese maid when she shows him her tramp stamp
Sue the Xmas party DJ for malpractice for that transition between songs. Just playing that Norah Jones song for the dancefloor of an office Xmas party is a fireable offense.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / But Wait—There’s Myrrh - The creepy old man is really just a lonely old man!
I liked the other "modern classic" songs better because Jim Carrey is just too extra.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / Guilty Pleasures - Elaine
Guilty (negative)5/5
Pleasure 12/10
Selecting this is like answering "my one flaw is that I work too hard and care too much" in a job interview. It'll be a shame if this wins the round. Nobody should feel guilty about playing this out loud. Maybe you can feel guilty about making the whole room dance and sing.
I gave this a -1 to offset the other votes that people are going to throw at this basically perfect song.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / Guilty Pleasures - Helen
Guilty 2/5
Pleasure 9/10
This is another that doesn't really belong in the guilty pleasures category, but I guess foreign language songs are all kind of awkward to justify to outside listeners. I actually haven't heard much Maná outside of the Santana collab, and I really dig this song!
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / We're going HARD! - This was probably the only song in the list that made me go ...what? Not necessarily in a bad way, just.... hmm. I guess they're kinda like Tool in that they've got complicated beats.
Anyway, I'm quite confident in saying that I don't like this song as much as Tool or Avenged Sevenfold, so I don't need to figure out how I feel about it, because I don't have any more points!
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / We're going HARD! - Obviously thinking along the same lines as me, although I do prefer their work in Audioslave. Two votes for the unorthodox riffs of Tom Morello, and for the hard-hitting truths about The Man.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Say what now? - I used to listen to this quirky song, but it's pretty musically bland isn't it?
Misheard lyrics: I thought that the first two kids had it better than the last kid... because "they weren't _black_" (actually 'glad') The song is apparently not about racial discrimination, hmm.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Say what now? - This was pretty stupid fun. I don't even like eurodance. I don't even think scat falls under the prompt, I'm just giving it two points for weirdness.
Great melody though.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Let's go to the movies! - The fact that I'm less than 50% sure what this is supposed to be a reference to (She's All That?) is a strong argument against an otherwise good song.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Cover me! - Helen
Unpopular opinion, but I always preferred the Roberta Flack version.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Cover me! - Elaine
The only reason this doesn't get more points is because I think the original is better, even though I didn't know the original existed until now.
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Sacré Bleu! A day in the life of Michel(Gilmore Girls) - Missed opportunity for "get lucky" and daft punk. But I guess Happy is more happy...
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Sacré Bleu! A day in the life of Michel(Gilmore Girls) - Maybe I'd like this better after seeing Trolls. Something, something, from Justin to Kelly reference.
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Beach Mismatch. Are your choices Kenenough! (Barbie) - I liked this a lot, and I think it's new to me (no offense but a lot of their songs are pretty similar).
I was also thinking about doing Heart of Glass by Blondie, and I think this and Cupid are the closest to that.
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Beach Mismatch. Are your choices Kenenough! (Barbie) - Ran out of votes. I think I like Last Kiss and Same Old Song better from the same general genre...
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Country Cover (Beyonce) - We were young when this came out, and now I understand why people back then got sick of this song. Sometimes I can hear some Elvis in there, which I like, but generally this is a skip.
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Country Cover (Beyonce) - I liked this better after I found out this was originally an Abba song.
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Bachelor Nanny TV (Soldier of illusion, Documentary Now) - Helen
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Bachelor Nanny TV (Soldier of illusion, Documentary Now) - Emma
I can't stand this show.
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Words don't matter - It's Blitzkrieg Bop, but because it's French it's about sex and letting the cat drink Whiskey. I liked it better before looking up the translation, so I'm a bit conflicted about giving it 0 pts... But not too conflicted considering the producer, not plastic bertrand, is the actual vocalist.
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Party picks - The best 1970s dance song about feeling trapped by modern life and escaping through dance
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Party picks - Oh go on, why not. Would be a fun dance.
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Childhood nostalgia - 👍 we are blessed with lots of Elvis lately 👍 the monologue in the middle 😂
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / No vocals needed - Tough choices this round... I guess it's about time we had something celtic- or viking-inspired. This was a lot of fun though, definitely could see it going on more playlists.
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / No vocals needed - I almost downvoted this, but it's actually a pretty ballsy submission. You listen to this for one thing: BONGOS, and nothing else matters.
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Throbbing Attraction (Character) - Great song. Points were really difficult to allocate this round.
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Grasping and Heaving (Story Goals) - My favorite surprise on this playlist. Chose to give an extra point elsewhere for story reasons, but it was tough.
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Bedroom Experiment (The Scientist's Tale) - Maybe you guys are getting the same songs in your algorithm as me. I've been thinking about using this song or more likely the original Supremes, but this round is not the one I would have picked. Oh well, still one of my favorites so it gets a point.
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Bondage and Duty (the Queen's Tale) - An interesting pick for a call-to-action song. I didn't realize they were basically a Christian band but it totally makes sense.
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Bad Habit (the Nun's Tale) - The comment sold me on this song.
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Drama, Actually... and Tease (Epilogue and Cliffhanger) - Wasn't feeling this one.

| lainey3eb | 40 | 29 | -6 | 23 | 0.57 | - SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / I have a dream! - I don’t recognize this artist or song, but it’s been driving me crazy these past few days trying to think of where I have heard this song before in the past…
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / I have a dream! - I just like the original song more
- SacramentoJam Disk 3 - Hamster Edition / It takes two - Out of all the songs, this one didn’t seem like an obvious love song to me. The lyrics suggest two people having a similar self-reflections about the dangers of fame/success? I haven’t seen any versions of A Star is Born.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / Back to Basics: School of Rock 101 - Deserving of points, but gave out all my points to other “classics” in the round.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / I Love You, Man? - I just don’t get the love for cars.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / I Love You, Man? - This is sweet.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / But Wait—There’s Myrrh - I love hearing this song 734 times during the holidays. And that Wham song. Yep, just admitted that and not ashamed at all!!
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / But Wait—There’s Myrrh - I didn’t realize I knew that many versions of this song that I would have a preference, but I prefer the version by Thurl Ravenscoft (what a great name and also the voice of Kellogg’s Tony the Tiger), followed by the Tyler the Creator version. But maybe I’m just being a Grinch 😝
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / Guilty Pleasures - Jason? Ticks both boxes of pleasure and guilt.
- SacramentoJam Volume 4 -Alicorn Stardust / Guilty Pleasures - Hellen? I think this was picked because it is a sad song, but I had to translate the lyrics to know.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Say what now? - I think this is a song commenting on the strange practices of some religious cult. But not any stranger than fans at a Crash Test Dummies concert jumping up and down shouting “play the Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm song! play the Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm song!”
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Say what now? - I’m a big fan of 1990s club songs (despite being nowhere near a club then) and I’m surprised I’ve never heard this one before. The lyric that is a mind twist for me is when he explains the meaning of scat as “While you're still sleepin', the saints are still weepin' 'cause/
Things you call dead haven't yet had the chance to be born.”
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Cover me! - Hellen? Classic for a reason. I almost picked a Lauren Hill song too.
- SacramentoJam Volume 5 - Mr. Wiffles' Catnip Jams / Cover me! - Emily? After listening to a lot of cover songs, I appreciate how hard it is to cover a song (a Prince one too!) and beautifully make it your own. So while this might have been an expected choice, I had to give Sinead 2 points. RIP
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Sacré Bleu! A day in the life of Michel(Gilmore Girls) - I would have given two points for “Get Lucky,” with French band Daft Punk, but this song does make me happy!
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Country Cover (Beyonce) - I’m not sure even Beyoncé could make this cool.
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Country Cover (Beyonce) - Fun song, but ran out of points.
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Bachelor Nanny TV (Soldier of illusion, Documentary Now) - Helen? Probably the most well known theme song, but I think it was written for the show.
- SacramentoJam Vol 6 - Whoa / Bachelor Nanny TV (Soldier of illusion, Documentary Now) - Emma? Song is clever, but written for the show and I like the Friends song more.
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Childhood nostalgia - Listened to so much Elvis as a kid.
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / Childhood nostalgia - I remembered listening to the Bee Gees too as a kid, but their more melancholy songs. I was quite surprised as an adult to hear their dance hits and learn it was the same band.
- SacramentoJam Vol 7 - Honorary Sacramentan Edition / No vocals needed - Was not expecting to like this one, but I did!
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Throbbing Attraction (Character) - Any West End story needs its titular West End girl.
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Bedroom Experiment (The Scientist's Tale) - Maybe the time loops were happening for a reason!
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Bondage and Duty (the Queen's Tale) - Thought this was a good pick, playing on the theme of whether she can break from her past.
- Lady Chatterwhistle's Gossip-Drama League / Drama, Actually... and Tease (Epilogue and Cliffhanger) - I like the full circle of using another Queen song and the lyrics work!
