Written for the 80s film Mannequin, about a guy who falls in love with a mannequin who (he thinks) comes to life after the department store closes. It's fair to say that this song has far outlasted both the movie and department stores. I thought about Hot Topic anthems and shallow teenybopper love songs, but I think this one is more embarrassing than MMMbop or wearing black eyeliner. I definitely would laugh at you if you told me this was one of your favorite songs - but I'd sing along too.

Would you boogie down to a song that told you to get retarded? The world collectively lost its mind with this song (which has been scrubbed from the internet and replaced with a clean version). At some point the Black Eyed Peas became uncool, but this _is_ a bop. Bonus: watch the music video and see Fergie, 8-time Grammy winner, dancing like she's Smeágol and just caught a fish. Hire a choreographer!

I was really into this song, and people would complain, but I still love how catchy it is.

Someone explain to me how this song about a horny peeping Tom sounds so romantic when the lyrics are so raunchy.

I grew up listening to her songs. This is probably the first Whitney song I got to know. Still love it!

I'm a sucker for musical albums. I only listen to these in the car and on my own. It adds a bit of story to the experience and the vocals are often fantastic! Favorite female vocalist? Idina Menzel hands down.

Johan and his team mates introduced me to the Phonk genre. This is a special offshoot from the genre that adds a nice Mexican flavor. I hope y'all found the diversity refreshing!

Just want to expose you all to a Dutch song. 😁 Not a guilty pleasure.

Everyone secretly likes this song right?

A friend of mine introduced me to Maná and I fell in love with them right away. This is my favourite number from their MTV Unplugged album. It's a kind of song that gets me moving instantly. Warning: it's pretty long. I hope you guys can bear with it and you will enjoy it as much as I do.
