The third album from Jimmy Eat World made them a staple of the pop punk scene in the early 2000s with their single "The Middle". This is my favorite song off that album.

When this album came out I had no idea it was their second one. But such a good album.

Tragic Kingdom was No Doubt's third album - following their self titled debut and their independently released Beacon Street Collection. Following middling sales of their debut, the independent release did so well that their label gave them another shot, and we know the rest.

From their 6th album Kick, their best selling. Lots of hit singles, but Michael Hutchence’s vocals and the sax solo make it my favorite. The line “We all have wings, but some of us don’t know why” is especially poignant knowing his ending.

They didn't make it big until their 3rd album.

Fly is the first Sugar Ray song I heard on the radio back in the 90s. Guessing that is the case with most of this group. I didn't realize until recently that they had an earlier album, Lemonade and Brownies, which is supposed to be terrible.

The Arctic Monkeys didn't break out in the US until their fifth album, and they never became a household name. Still, AM is a leading candidate for the Last Great Rock Album, near the top of the daily streaming charts 12 years and 12 billion streams later.

J Boog's second album, Backyard Boogie, was released in 2011 and topped the reggae charts and continues to be a hit today.
